Fried Cheese

I absolutely love this when I crave pizza! Honestly, if I crave pizza badly enough, I just order a pizza, but choose the thin crust. But, I am a dairy girl, and I love cheese, so this works for almost any craving. It works for when I am hungry! A few simple tips: Always keep shredded cheese on hand! The full fat ones fry best (and taste best!) so keep those in the fridge. The blends are really nice, and mozzarella makes for a fun stretch! Since I love plain cheese or olive pizza, my creations are rather simple. If you love big meaty pizzas, then keep some sausage close by! Leftover hamburger, peppers.. have fun!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shreddedMexican Cheese Blend I love the one by Sargento
  • 1/4-1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Other ingredients as desired: Dried crushed red pepper pizza ingredients, pizza sauce, balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat medium-sized non-stick pan to medium heat. Add cheese (and dried crushed red pepper if desired.) After about 3 minutes, or when edges get brown, flip over. Add other ingredients as desired.
  2. Remove from pan, serve hot.
