Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese Dipping Sauce)
This is the wonderful fish sauce based side that goes wonderfully well with Spring Rolls, as a topper to Vietnamese Stir Fry or even as a light salad dressing. Make a little extra to marinate chicken in before you stir fry or bake it. Delicious!
- 2 small cloves of garlic minced
- 1 tsp chili paste
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 2/3 cup hot water
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- small amount of shredded carrot, dried red pepper and/or finely chopped green onion garnish
Mix all ingredients together.
Can store in fridge for two weeks.
