Monster Cookies

I had the wonderful opportunity of attending Hennepin Technical College my last year of high school, and completed the Cook/Chef program. Before I started doing recipe development, we were provided a lot of recipes as staples. Some were tricky, and some were no-fail crowd pleasers. I'd have to put this recipe in that category! It was always fun bringing things like this home after school.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 9 cups oatmeal
  • 8 oz butterscotch chips
  • 8 oz M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°

  2. In a large bowl, mix ingredients in the order given.

  3. Drop by large scoopfuls onto a cookie sheet, and flatten slightly.

  4. Bake for 12 minutes.
