One Hour Yeast Donuts
Ingredients
Dissolve until foamy:
- 2 cups water
- 2 packets dry yeast
- 6 tbsp sugar
Add:
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp shortening
- 6 cups flour
Instructions

Mix well in electric mixer.

Flour board well, pour out batter, turn over so it is floured on both sides.

Pat out to 1/2 inch. Cut and let sit 1 hour.

Fry in deep hot fat.

Dip in thin powdered sugar glaze while hot.
