Buffalo Wings

Buffalo Wings

Low-carbies often turn to chicken wings for comfort. They make a great dinner, a great snack, a great thing to bring to a potluck, and even a great breakfast. If you order them at a restaurant, no one needs to know you are trying to behave yourself. (That's between you and the Ranch.) And if you have leftovers? Well, I guess I already said "breakfast," but they reheat really well. They're so awesome because they fill you up, are tasty, and yet feel so naughty! You can change up the recipe, toss them on the grill, and pop them in the smoker. Substitute your favorite salad dressing for the hot sauce. Italian is amazing!!

  • 2 1/2 lbs chicken drummettes
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup Frank's Hot Sauce or other similar sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Covered baking sheet with foil.
  2. Toss wings in oil, spread on sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven, pour sauce over wings. Return to oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with Ranch dressing.
