5 Cheese Lasagna

5 Cheese Pizza Lasagna

I love it when lasagna tastes like a pizza, which is why I created this recipe. Feel free to substitute ingredients. Not everyone is as obsessed with olives as I am!


  • 1 pkg lasagna noodles uncooked
  • 1 pint ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Romano cheese freshly grated
  • 1 lb mozzarella grated
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar grated
  • 3 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup green olives chopped
  • 1/4 cup black olives chopped
  • 1 can beer
  • grated Parmesan
  • fresh basil


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Pour 1/3 of sauce into bottom of a 9x13 pan. Place on a layer of the uncooked noodles.

  3. Mix together ricotta, egg and Romano and spread over noodles.

  4. Add on another layer of noodles. Spread with another 1/3 of the sauce. Add on another layer of noodles.

  5. Pour on remaining sauce.

  6. Sprinkle on mozzarella and cheddar. Lay pepperoni on top. Sprinkle with olives.

  7. Pour beer over all, starting around edges and in corners to prevent dry edges.

  8. Sprinkle on desired amount of Parmesan and lay fresh basil leaves on for garnish.

  9. Cover and bake for hour. Remove cover and bake until cheese slightly turns color.

  10. Remove from oven and let stand for about 10 minutes to set before cutting.
