Juicy Pickle and Onion Stovetop Burgers


Juicy Stovetop Burgers

One of my favorites is a big, fat juicy burger. I love them done on the grill, but when it's too cold out, this is favorite stovetop recipe. If you don't want to use pickle juice, substitute your favorite salad dressing!


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  1. Shape ground beef into 4 patties.
  2. Bring broth, water, pickle juice, onion, and pepper to a boil on medium heat. Place patties in simmering liquid. Flip after about 5 minutes. Add more water if necessary. Cook until desired doneness.
