Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

This one is from Grandma Bednarz. I doubt I have a cousin (and there were 25 of us) who didn't experience this aroma coming from that browerville kitchen. It was wonderful winter comfort food!

  • pork chops
  • sauerkraut
  • onion cut-up


  1. Put meat in a small roasting pan in oven.

  2. Let brown for 1 1/2 hours.

  3. Pour off grease.

  4. Add sauerkraut and onion.

  5. Add a little bit of water.

  6. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
