Cherry Chip Cookies

I got this recipe in 1985, and not only has it become a family favorite, but an inspiration for me to create other variations of cookies using a box of cake mix. Super easy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 box Cherry Chip cake mix
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°

  2. Mix all ingredients together.

  3. Roll into small balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cookies crackle on top.

  5. Let cool slightly before removing from pan.
